Tillett is a special brand - they began as strictly a manufacturer for Karting seats in the UK over 35 years ago. Founder Steve Tillett designed his first seat in his father’s garage in 1986, pioneering the idea behind seat design, which would go onto shape the entire karting world.

Over the years, the list of drivers helped and sponsored by Tillett Racing Seats reads like a who's who of the motor racing elite:

Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Michael Schumacher, Lando Norris, Kimi Raikkonen, Hekki Kovalinen, Robert Kubica, Jenson Button, Paul Di Resta, Anthony Davidson and the late Daniel Wheldon...are just a few of the drivers past and present who have used Tillett seats while racing karts.

Having pioneered the way that their Karting seats are constructed, they realized that their ergonomic system would work in larger applications.

Tillett began to manufacture a wide range of extraordinarily lightweight seats for road cars, enjoying a long standing relationship with Lotus and Caterham.

Now, they can be used in your road car. We have a wide range of their seats in stock, with most weighing only around 12 pounds.

Like each brand that we carry, Tillett Seats are a company where everything that they manufacture is considered - each seat is made by hand in their facility in Kent in the UK, and the company is still family owned.
